Getting Here
Getting here is easy, with direct flights into Telluride (TEX) from Denver and Phoenix, and into Montrose (MTJ) from Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, New York and Los Angeles. TEX is just 10 minutes from the heart of both Telluride and Mountain Village, while MTJ is a scenic 65 miles away.
Getting Around
Mountain Village was designed to be pedestrian-friendly, allowing you to leave your car behind. The towns of Telluride and Mountain Village are linked by a spectacular, 12-minute ride on a free gondola—the first and only free public transportation system of its kind in the United States. Mountain Village hotels also operate shuttles and the San Miguel Authority for Regional Transportation operates regional buses as well.
